THICK COATINGS

Certain applications may require fabrication of extremely thick and/or large area coatings, such as coatings for heating elements for glass melting, land‑based turbines for electricity production, paper mill rollers, etc. Coating of such large workpieces may require hours or even days of continuous spraying using conventional gas‑stabilized torches.
By using WSP‑H torch, the manufacturing times may be significantly reduced thanks to the unique combination of available high material throughput and achievable high deposition efficiency. Moreover, the torch operational costs are greatly reduced (compared to high‑power GSP) thanks to the low consumption of plasma forming gases.
